UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH (UWF)

2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)

For we walk by faith, not by sight:

The work of United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women), is focused on the mission set for us by Jesus Christ, as expressed through the PURPOSE and lived through our VISION since our founding in 1869.

PURPOSE: To be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to

experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative,

supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

MISSION: United Women in Faith to connect and mature women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities.

VISION: Turning Faith, hope, and love into action on behalf of women, children, and youth around the world.

WHAT WE DO

Some of our mission projects include: Providing hygiene kits for homeless shelters; individual members have partnered with other individuals and communities to give much needed clothing to children and women in Ghana.

In 2026, over 100 bags of clothing were collected for shipment to Ghana. Annually, UWFaith hosts a Christmas gifting for children in the community. We meet quarterly following worship service. Specific meeting dates will be listed in the monthly church announcements. Come join us! All are welcome.
